TWILIGHT GLOW
I developed my ‘Twilight Glow’ glaze to showcase a dynamic finish with shades of reddish purple, blue, black, and hints of gold and green. Each firing highlights a unique combination, from a full spectrum to limited hues.
These transformations occur due to light interference in the glaze's outermost layer, causing the colors to shift and evolve depending on the light source, its intensity, and the viewing angle.
This dynamic interaction with light is what makes the glaze particularly fascinating. The changing colors invite viewers to experiment with different lighting conditions, enhancing the magical quality of the work as it transforms before their eyes.
